A room has been reserved for an informal meeting of Region 1 HF Managers and Member Society Liaison Officers at this years Friedrichshafen event.

The meeting will be held in the Osterreich Room on Sunday 29th June between 10.00 and 12.00 hours.

The opportunity will be taken to discuss matters that may be raised at the Region 1 Conference in Cavtat later in the year.

IARU Makes input on “Euroloop” proposals

IARU Region 1, represented by John Gould, G3WKL, has made detailed input to the work being done in CEPT to consider the implications of the proposal to introduce “Euroloop”, a spread-spectrum signalling system for railways, operating in the HF range.

An informal meeting of Region 1 HF Managers and Liaison Officers will take place on Sunday morning, 25th June 2006 during the annual HamRadio show at Friedrichshafen.

Those planning to attend the meeting are asked to advise the HF Committee Chairman at iarur1hfm@g3psm.net in order to help with room allocations. More information will follow when known.
