The 26^th IARU Region 1 General Conference is ongoing at Zlatibor, Serbia, and this year hosted by SRS (Amateur Radio Union of Serbia). Almost 120 delegates, the majority representing the IARU R1 member societies, are taking part in discussions concerning but not limited to C3 (Administration and Organisational Committee), C4 (Permanent HF Committee), C5 (Permanent VHF/UHF/Microwave Committee), C7 (EMC Committee), Youth Working Group and STARS (Support to the Amateur Radio Service). Also, in this conference the future of amateur radio and both IARU will be addressed. More information, including the entire program and conference papers are available.
A special callsign, YT26IARU, is active during the General Conference and will be on air till the end of 2023.
