Shaping the Future program is organised in three different type of groups:
- The Program Board has the delegation from the Executive Committee to act as steering committee for the different teams. The Program Board approve the scope and budget of each team.
- The Secretariat will support both the Program board and the teams. This will include areas as high level planning, tools, communication, etc.
- The teams will define, plan and implement their strategic objective (SO) or defined area. After definition and budget is approved, the teams will work as more or less autonomous project teams reporting to the Program Board.
The organisation is resourced by volunteers to work with the future of amateur radio, but if needed also external resources (e.g. consultants) can be involved.
