The RL, Radioamateurs du Luxembourg, is pleased to announce that the Luxembourg Post Philately has issued a Special Post stamp on the occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the IARU .

Over a year ago, members of the RL asked the Luxembourg Post to issue a special Post stamp. In an information meeting with the responsible for the Post Philately at which the IARU Vice President Thomas, DF2OO, for the IARU and Armand, LX1MA, Phil, LX2A, Vice President RL and myself for the RL participated.

We could convince the postal officials to issue a special stamp. One of the founding fathers of the IARU Jean Wolff, 1JW, later LX1JW, worked in 1925 in a high position for the postal authority in Luxembourg
