December YOTA Month (DYM) returns once again in 2025! Throughout the entire month of December, young amateur radio operators from around the world will be active on the air using special YOTA-suffixed callsigns. The goal is to promote youth activity within amateur radio and to encourage young operators to take the microphone, key, or keyboard and enjoy making contacts.

Participating stations will use special callsigns with a YOTA suffix, operating on all bands and modes. As always, the event is open to all IARU member societies and their national youth teams.

Whether you are a young operator calling CQ or an amateur radio enthusiast eager to work YOTA stations, DYM is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the next generation of radio amateurs.

How to participate:

• Member Societies can request a YOTA callsign and register their national youth teams.
• Young Operators can join their local team and get on the air under the special event callsign.
